Adventures in Juicing: Days 6 and 7
Happy Memorial Day, and so sorry, yesterday passed by so quickly, before I knew it, it was time for bed! But, yesterday and today were fabulous on the juicing journey. Over the last two days I have consumed three slices of ginger, four apples, five pears, 2.5 cucumbers, 1.5 limes, four asparagus spears, a stalk of broccoli, four sticks of celery, 5 handfuls of spinach, four basil leaves, 2.5 bananas, one-half a pineapple, five carrots, 2 handfuls of kale, 1/2 lemon, a handful of raspberries, a slice of fennel, 1/2 an avocado, a teaspoon each of tahini (sesame seed butter), unsweetened cocoa powder, and raw honey, plus a litre of almond milk! I have never eaten this much veg and fruit in a week, let alone TWO DAYS!
The best part was yesterday and tonight’s THICKY–a chocolate shake made with homemade almond milk, banana, cocoa powder, and honey and tonight’s shake was made with almond milk, raspberries, banana, and a small handful of spinach!
So, here we are–one week down and three to go–ALREADY?! WOW! Until tomorrow.
