What a whirlwind of a year! The New York State Fair has come to a close, and I must thank all our loyal patrons for a very successful Fair. It is always so lovely to see old friends (some with new arrivals in their families!), reminisce about dearly departed ones, and make new acquaintances! The wood workers/turners made my Fair as they were making mice and hiding them about the Witter Museum (I received one who liked to hide amongst my soap cakes–she may need a couple of babies next year to play amongst the cupcakes)! Thank you, too, for the dolphin, goldfish, and the gorgeous lady dragon. Bob, your Shaker music box has a pride of place!
Summer is taking its final curtain call, and Autumn is patiently waiting in the wings. And me? Well, I am as busy as a little bee, buzzing about finishing up some bespoke orders, dreaming up and making new items for the season, and preparing for some fairs and festivals I will be participating in for the first time! This has been the year for festivals for us and though it has been hard work, it has been a wonderful time creating items and of course, I just LOVE meeting new people at these venues!
I would also like to thank my Heavenly Father for allowing me to make these wonderful soapy creations (without You, I am nothing), and thank you to my darling husband (whom the LORD graciously provided me). How many men would take two weeks of their holiday to spend with their wife selling and wrapping soap pastries? I ask you? Sweetie, you are the best in all ways! Thank you, thank you!
New items will be added to the web store in the days and weeks to come. If you don’t live nearby to shop in person, you can do so here!
Blessings and love to you,
