BDRA Fundraiser a Success!

Good Wednesday morning!

Orders have been shipped, tallies taken, and we are honored that we were able to raise $59 for those wonderful people and doggies that make up the Blind Dog Rescue Alliance (BDRA)!  A great BIG THANK YOU to all who participated in this Spring’s fundraiser.  As always, we wouldn’t be able to do what we do without YOU!

So many things are happening or about to happen on the farm–it’s not ALL about soap!  The grass is growing like crazy, so the lawnmower has been busy, counting down the days for the builders to come (so excited I could POP!), gardens just about ready to be put in, chicks are due to arrive next week, horses are getting into shape, training for a 5-K Saturday, a few new soaps and products in the making (thanks Chris for the one idea–you are awesome!), and the horse poo pile needs to be spread down to size!

The “fuzzy alert” has gone off in the past week, and that always brings a smile to my face and heart.  After the “death” of winter, God’s Creation resurrects to life in Spring as a reminder of His Son Jesus’ death and resurrection.  What a blessing!

Sounds like I have a rather large checklist of things to do, and it seems to always grow.  I learned that rather than focussing on my personal situation by ticking off items on my to do list to make me feel secure  (I almost never tick off ALL the items and THAT is frustrating), rather, I should focus on Jesus’ presence with me.  WOW!  I feel better knowing He is with me, and I don’t have to do this life all by myself, and here’s hoping that these words are uplifting to you, as well!

Blessings,

Lorraine
