BDRA Fundraiser continues!
Well, the elections are over, the leaves have been falling off the trees, we have reached the halfway mark of our fundraiser, and we have a few new items just for the season. Are you ready?!
How about some “foodie” soaps? No, you cannot eat them, but they certainly smell like you could! The following soaps are what I would call “artisan” soaps. These soaps have unique designs and I use a special blend of oils to make them. I have also dabbled in the art of melt and pour soaps, and the one I have created for the gift-giving season is just the cutest! Without further eloquence, here they are:
This first artisan soap is Pumpkin Spice Latte. A swirl of pumpkin, espresso, and cream forms the base and is topped with a luscious helping of “whipped cream” and golden “chocolate” shavings. The scent is a strong pumpkin-laced coffee. Now, you know how calorie-laden a latte can be, but this one is completely calorie free! What could be better?!

Our second foodie soap is Apple Cinnamon Cupcake. Everything from the cake, sliced apples, glaze, cinnamon-sprinkled frosting, right down to the very cinnamon stick is made of soap! Wonderful to set on your desk for a pick-me-up sniff, but don’t be afraid to use it in the bath, too!

How do you celebrate the holidays? Champagne is always appropriate any time of the day or night, and our gold-veiled bath bombs fill the bill! A blend of champagne and orange (think of a mimosa) is perfect for the bath, and your skin will be left with a golden shimmer always attractive for those holiday parties!

Finally, I would like to present an artisan soap that has yet to make an appearance until now. Some of you may remember me saying that I often get a bit paralyzed when presented with a new and daring soap design. This is one of them. However, now that I have made several of these artisan soaps, I may well be over my fear! I certainly hope so anyway. This soap has been listed under our special soaps, but no photo has been posted until today. Presenting our Sirene of the Sea. The base is a swirl of ocean blue and sea foam white topped with mermaid scales of iridescent plum, green, and blue. There may be some shimmers of gold as well, which may indicate a royal sea dweller. The redolence is green floral and quite succulent!

I hope you enjoy taking a peek at our holiday and newest soaps and sundries! Remember, we now take credit cards on our site. I thank those of you who have been our proverbial guinea pigs as we have worked out the bugs! You are the best!
Blessings to you all,
Lorraine
