Frederick has been coming to the Fair for three decades! A very sweet and special fellow.
The last day of State Fair is always bittersweet for me. Twelve days of traveling to and from our farm to Syracuse makes one quite tired, but when it’s all over, I always feel a bit sad as it will be an entire year before I get to see many of those that work at the Agricultural Museum as well as those of you who return to watch a soap-making demonstration or just say hi! I cannot say “Now I can get some rest,” as I must crack the whip and start making more soaps TOMORROW for the remainder of the year! Here are a few more photos of old and new friends, and I look forward to seeing many of you again next year at the Great New York State Fair. Next year, I hope to have a better handle of taking and posting photos and sharing more of the museum and goings on around the Fair. Until then, we will be at several more festivals/shows, so stay tuned and enjoy the remainder of your summer. With love and blessings, Lorraine
