Next Stop Cooperstown, New York!
Good Tuesday evening!
Wow, it has already been a week since State Fair ended and I am gearing up for the Harvest Festival at the Farmers’ Museum in Cooperstown this coming weekend (13-14). Have been busily making soaps and getting ready to pack up the the MINI “van” with lots of soaps. Although I won’t be in costume, I will be doing demonstrations three times each day at 11, 1, and 3 pm. So please stop by, feel free to ask questions about soap making, taking a class, and sniff and fondle the soaps! I will be located in the tent with my buddy Bernd (crafter of the most wonderful mountain dulcimers), adjacent to the carousel.
After unexpected illness prevented me from participating last year, I cannot wait to get to Cooperstown, home of James Fenimore Cooper, the National Baseball Hall of Fame, Glimmerglass, and of course, The Farmers’ Museum! Cooperstown is a lovely community and a wonderful historic place to visit for the arts, food, and fun! Hope to see your there this weekend!
Blessings,
Lorraine
