Cupcake Soap – Sunflower

$15.00

This year’s sunflower cupcake soap looks a little less like Van Gogh’s Sunflowers and a little more like the weeping sunflowers from David Lean’s film Dr. Zhivago, and speaking of weeping sunflowers, here’s a fun fact–tiny threads were attached to some of the petals in their touching scene, and the threads were pulled to make the flowers appear to “weep!”  If you have never viewed the 1965 film starring Omar Sharif, I highly recommend it–truly a work of art as is Boris Pasternak’s 1957 novel (I would suggest reading the novel first, then possible disappointment will not ensue).  This year’s sunflower is reminiscent of Elizabeth Arden’s Sunflower perfume–a bit like a sunflower in a citrus grove.

Ingredients:  Coconut Oil, Palm Oil, Olive Oil, Water, Canola Oil, Sodium Hydroxide, Castor Oil, Shea Butter, Mulberry Silk, Fragrance, Mica Colorant, Glitter.
