Spring has FINALLY sprung with Fundraisers!
Greetings y’all!
Yes, I did spend some time in the South–twelve years in my darling husband’s home state of Mississippi. A place of enchanting musical voices, abounding manners, fabulous food, and some of the friendliest people I have EVER met!
Well, I digress for we are here in the Finger Lakes region of the great State of New York, and I DO believe winter has sent her last flake, at least I hope so. Let’s turn our thoughts to daffodils and tulips, of serenading song birds in the morning, and soon the peepers will be singing us to sleep at night.
Without further eloquence, I would like to usher in the new month of April with our participation in a fundraiser–YES, a FUNDRAISER! From tomorrow (the first, and this is no fool!) until the 19th, Morning Mist Farms Soaps will donate 25 percent of our sales to the Blind Dog Rescue Alliance! No, these are not dogs FOR the blind, but blind or sight-impaired “pups” that need homes. Please check out their Facebook page!
We will be out and about this month. First, this Saturday (5th), we will be at the Finger Lakes Racetrack in Farmington for the Finger Lakes Thoroughbred Adoption Program’s Fourth Annual Spring Bazaar held from 10-3. On Thursday, the 10th, we will be at Thompson Hospital’s M.M. Ewing Continuing Care Center in Canandaigua for their Ninth Annual Spring Fling from 11-3. Come by and smell the soaps and try out some of our samples. We have some new products as well! See you there!
Blessings,
Lorraine
